About Our Club
This traditional form of dance has been around for several hundred years. We grew out of a class at Cecil Sharpe House but have been operating as an independent club since September 2017.

Our friendly club meets in a lovely space at Primrose Hill Community Centre. We focus on traditional English folk dances such as those collected by Playford or written by Pat Shaw and other English dancing masters. Sometimes we'll try dances developed in America or those recently written in the English folk tradition. Above all we have fun.

Do come and and try it. You'll be made welcome whether you are an experienced dancer, a beginner wanting to learn, or somewhere in between. For those who are interested there is also the opportunity to practice calling dances on our club caller nights.

We look forward to seeing you at The Camden English Folk Dance Club sometime soon.
